Should I remove all the mess from my closet before someone comes over to my home to design a closet for me?
NO, we like to see where we can help you get organized. That pile of shoes on the floor, the overstacked pile of sweaters. If you have ties and or scarves everywhere we can help you organize these. We need to see how much long hanging and how much short hanging. This is part of our job to help you fix the problem areas.
Is it a good idea to paint the inside of my closet before the organizers are installed?
Getting a new closet organizer is like starting a new way of organized living and nothing compliments it more than a fresh coat of paint!!
How much extra space can I expect if my closet is organized by storageWORKS?
Depending on what your specific needs are, an organizer should be able to double to space.
How do you install an angle wall support?
The shelf should be already installed. There should be a support every 42"; (wall bracket, support pole, or angle wall brace) if possible use a stud finder, as it is always better to install these into a stud. After this is done, clip the support to the shelf at the front top rail, use a level to ensure the shelf is level, then secure the angle support to the wall using a screw for studs, and an anchor support for other wall surfaces.
How do I ensure that the shelf is level?
Always use a level to measure that side-to-side of the shelf and the front-to-back.
How long will it take for you to install the system?
This will depend on the job. For wire anywhere from fifteen minutes to four hours. Double that time for melamine shelving. A quick rule of thumb is take the dollars amount, drop the first decimal and that should be the number of minutes. E.g. $300. Will equal 30 minutes, add 1/2 hour for set up and tool removal.
Where is the rod to hang my clothes?
The rod to hang your clothes is 12" from the back wall in a closet
